Board of Management Agreed Report 22.02.2023

Class teacher Mr. Ryan has co-ordinated the selection of the Student Council.
Ahane National School Board of Management approved and ratified the Admissions Policy January 2023. This Policy was then approved by St. Senan's Education Office on behalf of the Patron.
Ahane National School Parent Association held their AGM on October 17th and elected the following officers

Congratulations to our boys and girls football teams who both reached the finals of these competitions. The boys'team won the final by the narrowest of margins with a one point win in a very tightly and evenly contested match against Castleconnell.
The girls' team gave a great display of football in what was also a very close match and were unlucky to lose by two points to Caherelly.
Well Done to the boys and the girls' teams.
The pupils were treated to a visit from Limerick Senior Hurlers Dan Morrissey, Tom Morrissey and Ciarán Barry. These three members of the Limerick hurling panel brought the Mackey Cup and the Liam Mc Carthy Cup to show the pupils in the school. The players met the pupils in the school hall. There was a short question and answer session with the players with pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class asking the players questions on a wide range of topics.
Ahane National School were delighted with the success of the inaugural School Fashion Show.
