Pupils from Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Classes travelled to Thurles to take part in the Primary Schools Cross Country.
Ahane National School announces details of gala fundraising fashion show
A showcase of fashion and local craft will take place next month in front of a capacity crowd at the Castletroy Park Hotel for the inaugural Ahane National School Fashion Show which was launched this week by style queen Celia Holman Lee.
A new bicycle rack was installed at the front of the school following a successful application to An Taisce.
Pupils and staff arrived back to school this year to a newly upgraded back yard. The upgrading of the back yard was undertaken following a successful Summer Works application to the Department of Education. The application was submitted to the DES by the Board of Management in June 2019.
In early 2022 the Board was notified that this application had been sanctioned for funding.
The Board of Management ratified the Annual Admissions Notice for the 2023 -2024 School Year. The Annual Admissions Notice , the Admissions Policy and the Application form for enrolment are available on the website.

The Board of Management completed the Review of the Anti - Bullying Policy. The Notification of the Review is available on the website and will also be sent to the Parent Association, School Personnel and St. Senan's Education Office.
