The big grow with Junior and Senior Infants

We, in Junior and Senior Infants, decided to take part in the 'Big Grow' this year, an initiative to give children more understanding of where their food comes from, and hopefully, will encourage the children to eat and enjoy the foods that they grew themselves. On February the first, we kicked off the season of spring by planting some cress seeds, some spinach seeds and some peas. We couldn't believe how quickly our seeds came to life, when given the correct care of water and heat from the sunlight.
