Our Outstanding Achievers

We have a special place on our Active Board for all the boys and girls that achieve greatness outside of school in sport, whether it is in rugby, soccer, running, horse-riding, gymnastics, basketball or community games. We feel in Ahane National School that all achievements in sport should be recognised and we are very proud of each child that has avhieved something in sport so far this year.

At present our school is being represented by Darragh Lehane who is in 6th class in the Football Go Games. He will be playing on Sunday the 28th of May at half time of the Munster Quarter Final involving Clare and Limerick in Cusack Park, Ennis. We are so very proud of Darragh and wish him all the best for Sunday.

As well as this two of our 6th class girls Aoife Whelan and Niamh Brennan are also representing Ahane N.S in the East Limerick Girls Camogie team. The girls are making a huge impression with their skills and we are sure that we will see them on the bigger stage very soon!
