This year we are looking to become an Active school for the first time. As we begin this journey we have created a committee to help with the organising of events through out the year. There was very tough competition from the children as they each wrote why they felt that they should be part of the committee for the active flag. After reading each of the children's fantastic pieces of writing Ms. McGrath final chose an boy and girl from each class from 2nd to 6th class. In second class Aoibhín Kett and Cormac Devitt were chosen, in 3rd class Rían Acheson and Jane Ryan, representing 4th class is Emma Cross and Tadhg Dillon, 5th class are represented by Dara Kennedy and Zoe O'Mahony and finally in 6th class Lucy Cusack and Cody Murphy are doing lots of hard work. There is no doubt that they will do lots of hard work throughout the year to ensure that we reach our goal by the end.
