First Holy Communion 2019

Congratulations to the children in Second Class who received their First Holy Communion on May 18th in St. Patrick’s Church, Ahane. The ceremony was celebrated by Fr. Tom Whelan and Fr. Willie Teehan. The children prepared for the Sacrament  under the guidance of class teacher Ms.Therese Tuohey. The children were supported by the school choir  which was conducted by Ms. Claire Tierney. Thank you  to all the parents who  helped to prepare the children for  their special day. Following the Church ceremony children and their families were invited back to the school hall for refreshments which were prepared and served by the parents of children in First Class. Thank you to all who helped in  providing the refreshments to the families of the First Communion children.
