Confirmation Class 2018
Congratulations to the sixth class pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday 19th April In Castleconnell Church. The children received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Fintan Monahan who was assisted by Fr. Brendan Kyne and Fr. Tom Whelan. The ceremony was attended by the children’s sponsors , families and friends. Children from Sixth Classes in Castleconnell NS and Lisnagry NS also received the Sacrament with the children from Ahane N.S. which makes the ceremony a parish celebration of faith. Bishop Fintan spoke to the children and their families during the ceremony and posed for photographs with many children following the ceremony. The Confirmation children, their families and friends were invited to the parish hall for refreshments following the ceremony.
