Senior Infants

Senior Infants have green fingers !

In Senior Infants we have been busy learning about how things grow. In March we saw how the potatoes we used in Art started to sprout and grow eyes. So we set them in the hope that after a few months we would have new baby potatoes. So far so good! another few weeks and we should be able to harvest our little crop !

We also planted some watercress in recycled cartons. Our little plants grew very well as can be seen from the photo below!

Senior Infants 2016

Senior Infants went to the Old Rectory in Croom on their school tour. It was a most enjoyable and educational trip with activities including a treasure hunt and farm visit. The children also got to make their own cookies and bring them home! The day was enjoyed by one and all!
