Fifth and Sixth Classes.
This year, we are excited to announce that we are participating in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme, which has given us the opportunity to invest in and create our very own product from scratch. Since September , we have been learning all about entrepreneurship and what it takes to set up and run a successful business. We have spoken to real life entrepreneurs , worked on six amazing ideas and presented these ideas in the “Dragons Den” After all the ideas were pitched the dragons chose “ Don’t Forget “ as the winning idea.
“Don’t Forget” is a key ring but with a little twist. Firstly our key rings are going to act as a checklist for children or adults who participate in a number of sports(soccer, hurling, camogie, football, swimming, rugby, athletics and gymnastics) on one side there will be a checklist of items that you need when participating in each of these sports. On the other side of the key ring you will have a choice of three images, the Ahane Crest with your name, the All Ireland Winning Hurling team of 2018 or your Class Photo. Order forms will be distributed from March 4th - 12th and key rings can be pre- ordered during these dates. All key rings will be distributed on Friday 15th March. We will be holding our showcase on this date where pupils and parents will be invited to visit us in the hall to see and hear all about our journey since the start of the year. We will also be making key rings on the day for anyone that missed the opportunity to pre order. We greatly appreciate any support and we look forward to sharing our product with you.
