Bishop Monahan visits Ahane N.S.

On Friday 16th June Bishop Fintan Monahan visited Ahane NS to bless and officially open our new classroom extension. The occasion was marked by an outdoor prayer service which was celebrated by Bishop Monahan, Fr. Kyne and Fr. Whelan. The ceremony was attended by the children, parents,families, neighbours and members of the Board of Management.The children were led in music and song by Cora Mulvihill. Refreshments were served by the Parents Association to the visitors in the School Hall.
